Artist: Hanna Supetran

Artist Introduction:

Hanna Supetran comes from Philippines. She is a corporate executive who started painting as a hobby years ago until she was asked if she can provide the artworks for a company. This was followed by an invitation from Arts Elements Asian Gallery in Manila and launched her as one of their featured artists last March 2016.  Hanna took a break from the corporate world last year, flew to Florence, Italy and enrolled in an intensive Visual Art Course.

What medium you work in?

Oil, Acrylic, Charcoal, Watercolour.

As an intuitive artist, Hanna goes with what she feels like when creating a painting. Her strokes shift throughout her paintings. Hanna paints with a sense of freedom allowing her to explore endless possibilities.  If painting with a sense of freedom (meaning no previous plan of what the outcome would be and the colors to use) can be considered as a special technique, that would-be Hanna’s signature and technique.

What you hope to accomplish with your art?

Hanna: What I intend to accomplish is for my art to bring the feeling and energy of beauty, joy, love, peace, harmony, healing and blessings to the world, one painting at a time.

Showing history; any collections your work is in?

Hanna: Some of my artworks are now in offices and residences.

Two furniture showrooms in the Philippines (MOFU and Luzon Rattan) are showcasing and selling my artworks.

Art-related education; any well-known teachers, influences?

Visual Arts Class in Accademia D’Arte  ADA Firenze, Florence Italy

Visual Arts Curriculum included (Fresco Art, Nude Figure Live Drawing, Photography and Contemporary Art Technique)

• Working on a series for a planned exhibit next year.
• Working on an artwork intended for Jury Based Art Competitions in the USA.
• Working on artworks intended for an art publication in Europe

Awards; other professional achievements?

• Exhibition in 2016 in Arts Elements Asian Gallery, Philippines
• Luzon Rattan Furniture Showroom to have invited Hanna to display artworks in their showroom and sell on her behalf
• MOFU (Modern Furniture) to have invited Hana to display artworks in their showroom and sell on her behalf
